We only stayed here one night, but very much enjoyed our time. We stayed in the “No Troubles” room, located very close to the check-in building. I believe that’s one of their standard rooms, and while it was very cozy and tastefully decorated, it did lack some of the amenities we were hoping for (like a bathtub or nice view). I was also sad that the fireplace didn’t actually function. Because we came in the middle of winter, we were hoping perhaps they’d upgrade us to one of their more unique rooms on the property (they have these incredible cabins and treehouses), but sadly they did not. It is a rather small property so couldn’t tell exactly how many of the rooms/cabins were occupied. That being said, the property itself is very beautiful. Surrounded by lush farmlands, with plenty of outdoor places to gather, and even a pool (but too cold to enjoy in winter). We had an amazing “surprise dinner” on the property. A new concept for us, and something we really enjoyed. They took note of our likes/dislikes when we checked in to make sure the dinner was prepared accordingly and allowed us to choose our preferred protein. Other than that, everything else was a delightful surprise. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast, which they kindly organized just for us as we had an early flight to catch. We were able to park our car on the property for free. We were greeted several times by the owner, Marta, which we really appreciated and showcased the family-run side of the business. I wish we had gotten a chance to talk more and ask questions, but hopefully we can do so during another visit. Overall, this is a very special property and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful home away from home in Algarve.
