Arti Arte Azulejar

Carla was absolutely fantastic. We loved the time we spent with her learning about the history of Portuguese tiles and creating our tiles. There were 8 in our group - 4 adults and 4 kids (ages 9-13). Carla took the time to explain tile history and technique and thoroughly explained how to paint tiles. She provided the why behind each step. She is joyful and so pleasant to be around. She provided many recommendations of things we should do in the area. We also loved seeing the commissioned piece she was working on at the back of the studio. When we picked up our fired tiles a few days later, we got to see the progress she had made. Our whole group picked this as one of the top 3 things we did during our two week trip to Portugal.
