Falcoaria Santa Efigénia

We had a terrible experience with this place. We booked via Airbnb, the location was off, they forgot to send us the check-in notification so we were standing in front of another gate close by. No one answered our messages even though we had communicated our arrival time upfront. We left to the city centre and only after contacting Airbnb they got back to us. Meanwhile we had lost 2 1/2 hours. Afterwards they assigned us a cottage which we found being occupied by someone else already. They then made the excuse that they actually wanted to upgrade us as we had troubles before and assigned us another cottage. It was not what we had booked and wanted but it had a (plastic) jacuzzi outside so we were okay with it (as it was late and we also had no other option around). We asked them to turn it on and to heat it up. After a while a bug accrued (which means the filter has to be changed) and they accused us to have broken the jacuzzi (without us even having touched it) and reported this to Airbnb. We’ve never experienced such a rude and dishonest behaviour. There are much more beautiful places around which we have booked for the following days.
