Rather disappointing Dolphin trip not because we didn't get to see any dolphins, as we knew this was always a possibility, but because the whole experience lacked any fun or professionalism.The first thing we faced was being ushered onto a boat where the seats were wet and dirty. Surely a quick wipe over with a towel would be an easy thing and if the customers saw the guides/staff doing this prior to getting on it would immediately give an impression of a professional set up rather than.......you'll have to put up with it!! Instead we just had to sit on the wet seating. We had two guides who seemed pleasant enough and the driver did actually introduce himself and said that he would do his best to find some dolphins but over the sound of the engine it was difficult to hear exactly what he was saying. The other guide said absolutely nothing. And so our two and a half hour boat trip commenced and apart from a brief moment of excitement when a tuna fish jumped out of the water for 2 seconds, which most people missed, that was it. Although the company give no guarantees of finding dolphins we did feel that one of the guides might have at least given us a little chat on the types of dolphins in the area, what they are known to do, how they live, what they feed on etc etc........but instead there was nothing, just silence? Maybe even a bit of gentle music playing would have been pleasant and helped to break the monotony and keep spirits high.We have been on similar trips before and the guides create a bit of a party atmosphere on board but this just didn't happen on this trip. We feel it could have been made so much more enjoyable by the company and the staff on board but instead just felt like a rather long ferry ride.Guys you really need to work on making this trip a 'fun' experience.
