Pastelaria Alva
Cute neighborhood bakery where the locals go for coffee. Great for early risers since it opens at 7am while the other coffee shops/bakeries in the area open at 8:30. Very friendly service, English speaking. Their plain brioche roll as well as the rustic roll were both fresh. And the croissant filled with cream was soooo good!! More like brioche, not flaky, and the filling reminds me of Korean cream custard with a hint of orange flavor? And coffee was excellent and strong, great value for 75 cents! And you can get it to go.
