Hotel Maritur - Adults only

On arrival we were told that each guest had to provide €100 deposit and it had to be cash. Ridiculous as obviously we were then forced to take €100 cash home with us at the end of our holiday that was converted to be used while in this country.Our hotel door lock didn’t work the whole time we were there. It was a miracle we weren’t robbed. After several trips to reception to explain the door would not lock behind us they then provided us with a steel key. This also did not work as it was interfering with the electronic mechanism that also controls the door latch. In the end we gave up trying to explain.The location was great in the fact it was away from noisy night life.But was quite secluded from every thing except a small beach and a few small shops.Day time at the pool we were scared to make any noise without receiving a death stare from guests. 0 music, 0 atmosphere = 0 funIt’s called an ‘adult only hotel’ but it should really be called ‘seniors only’We had a sea view suite. It Was supposed to sleep 4 but really it was 2 single beds and a pull out couch which only had room for one person. We took it in turns sleeping on the floor.We could not take a shower for more than about 3 minutes as the water was not draining away and was rising over the shower unit and in to the rest of the bathroom. The floor was wet the whole time we were there and constantly had to mop up with towels.
