I haven't been to a salon in 10 years due to a bad experience. My experience here has made me want to never go to a salon again.I had to immediately rewash and restyle my hair when I got home to make it look decent. I wasted money on my hair and transportation.I wanted to treat myself since I've been styling my own hair for all of my adult life. Despite saying they cater to natural hair, that is not the case for kinky/coily hair.My hair was ripped through with a brush from roots to ends (not ends to root). All hope of any curl definition was roughly brushed out before applying product when I was in the styling chair. They say my hair is the issue, but really their technique and products were wrong for my hair type. I left with my hair as an undefined mess covered in white product flakes. It worse than any results I've ever had doing my hair myself.I told them I only wanted a light trim since my hair was trimmed 8 weeks ago. They cut off around 4 inches of my hair. It used to end near my belly button and now it's up to my chest when stretched out.They said my service was done while my hair was filled with embarrassing white product clumps that they said would dry throughout the day.Who knows when I'll ever visit a salon again.
