Franks: A Hidden Gem Amidst the Algarve's Culinary TapestryAs we gazed at the exorbitant prices on the hotel menu, we pondered whether it was worth venturing outside to explore the local dining scene. A few quick Google searches later, we decided to take a chance and called Franks, hoping they would have a table available within the next 30 minutes. Based on some reviews we had come across, we were skeptical that it would live up to the hype. But oh boy, were we pleasantly surprised.Tucked away down a charming little alley, surrounded by lively bars and restaurants, Franks immediately caught our attention with its tasteful design. From the moment we stepped through the door, the service was impeccable, save for a minor mishap involving a dirty glass. The waiter was courteous, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout our dining experience.To my disappointment, the chicken supreme dish that had initially caught my eye was sold out. However, the waiter enthusiastically recommended the beef cheek burger as an alternative, and I decided to give it a try. It turned out to be a fantastic choice. The burger was succulent, packed with flavor, and perfectly cooked. My wife opted for the fish, and her delight was evident as she savored every bite.We capped off our meal with a selection of desserts, which, although not as refined as the main courses, were still undeniably delicious.
