Surprice Car Rentals - Faro

Terrible company, do not use.Rented a car, returned it and they pointed out 2 supposed scratches - one was literally not visible, the second was a less than 2 inch scratch on the plastic splash guard which could barely be seen (photo below) . We hadn’t hit anything and the lender walked straight over as if he already knew where it was. We wouldn’t pay for the first one, as there was literally nothing there. They charged €100 for the second and a €90 admin fee?! for literally signing a piece of paper. Plus in the meantime meant we had missed their shuttle and so had to pay for a taxi to the airport.They also tried to charge us €26 for rhe petrol being slightly underfilled. We went round the corner to a petrol station and filled it generously for €13.We spoke to the staff on the desk and said the man checking the car is making some wild claims, can someone else see what they think, we were flatly told no. The whole thing very much was a scam - set a 10 min drive from the airport rather than with the other rental places at the airport, so they know you are limited with options, and can’t ask for any help/alternatives. We ended up paying more in their additional charges than for the car rental itself.Booking ref B63516293
