Adega das Vinhas Novas - Santa Cruz

Had the most incredible experience here last night. We turned up quite late but were warmly welcomed into the winery and given a tour of this amazing family run set up. We then soaked up the last of the sun over a bottle of their delicious Rose wine and enjoyed some meats and cheeses which they kindly prepared for us. We then were invited in to see the wine bottling process and helped putting corks into the bottles for a short while. We have visited many great winery’s over the years but this one really stands outs. Beautiful place, beautiful wine, beautiful people. A real hidden gem!!
