Complete scam. After standing in long line to take our ride after a cruise departure, our taxi driver totally took advantage of us not knowing the language and the local area. We over paid more then twice what we should have to our hotel. I tried to pay by credit cards I know shouldn’t have been a problem. The driver finally said the machine didn’t work. Even though a lot of local hotels and businesses recommend you use local cab service instead of Uber or Lyft, don’t do it. You know what your cost is up front with Uber and Lyft. I understand that some of the drivers are independent contractors, therefore it is left up to the legitimate driver to root out the scammers.
