Not even worth the 1 star. I invested a significant amount of money in purchasing SECILTEK microcement for the renovation of three new bathrooms and my kitchen. Regrettably, merely one week after application, I have encountered numerous issues with the product. Notably, all of my kitchen counters have become severely stained, as have the bathroom floors and surfaces. It is concerning that I was not adequately informed about the product’s limitations in terms of moisture exposure.Even slight contact with damp items, such as a shampoo bottle during a shower or a slightly wet dishcloth, has resulted in irreversible colour bleeding and staining on the countertops! The inconvenience caused by these limitations is beyond what any homeowner should reasonably expect.I sought assistance from SECILTEK representatives who visited my premises to assess the damage - Their position implies that I should avoid placing even common bathroom items, like toothbrush holder, on the countertops – a notion that is inherently impractical and unreasonable!My frustration extends beyond the unsuitability of the product itself. What is equally disheartening is the apparent lack of acknowledgment from the technicians regarding the glaring issues I’m facing. Despite showing them a significant yellow stain caused by a simple bread loaf defrosting, their response failed to acknowledge the extent of the damage.Although Secil said they take the matter seriously they have not responded to my complaints online, on social media or via email. I SPENT OVER 8500 EUROS on this product and its useless. I urge anyone not to use this product, money down the drain.I implore SECILTEK to take immediate action to rectify this situation. The damage to my home’s surfaces is irreversible, and the microcement product has proven to be entirely unsuitable for its intended purpose. I firmly believe that SECILTEK should take responsibility for these shortcomings and adopt measures to prevent other unsuspecting homeowners from enduring similar ordeals.
