Lagos Avenida Hotel

This is lovely boutique hotel over looking the marina. The road outside is quite busy but you can't hear it from the rooms. There are some great beaches and cliff walks close by and the old town is quaint.The service was excellent and the restaurant seemed to be popular with locals and holidaymakers alike.There was a decided lack of vegetarian and vegan meals on the menu though. Ventured into the old town and we found plenty of choices for vegan, would recommend Seasonal and Real Portuguese Cuisine as great places to dine.The hotel was clean well appointed but the shower and loo were practically in the bedroom as glass cubicles with only a sheer curtain, so choose your room mates wisely!Would definitely go back.
