Igreja de São Nicolau

Lisbon has many old churches. Some of them are not that interesting from the outside. But, once you get inside, you can see the beautiful architecture and the details which must have taken years to build.We were staying on Prata Street. One day while walking down the street, we came across this church.The exterior was quite ordinary but, beautiful inside with paintings on the walls and dark wood pews. The ambiance was inviting and peaceful.The church is still active in the community.
