I was glad to have found this hidden gem as a holiday spot in the Algarve, based on the ethics permaculture. This means you can automatically expect organic food.And the food was definitely good! A lot of variety, enough vegan options.The friendliness of the people made us feel welcome, as if we were part of a family. At the same time you can enjoy your privacy with your own family.When you're interested in permaculture there is a possibilitie to have a guided tour through the quinta and learn more about how the design and how the principles and techniques were applied and still are being improved. Very inspiring.From quinta do Vale da Lama you can reach the quiet part of the beach within a 15 minute walk. A nice place to relax with the kids or go kite surfing.
