Udance Escola de Dança

This dance school reignited my passion for dancing after having a break from HipHop for 8 years. I started doing social dance in UDance and quickly expanded my course range to solo as well. You have a great offer of various dance styles such as HipHop, Jazz, Funk, Commercial, Salsa, … and they take place to great times (starting at around 6.30 until 21.30). The building is very new and facilities are perfect. You have showers over there and even a little Café. They have over 4 studios with big mirrors. You can feel that the people who organize the place love dancing. Which is the greatest though are the teachers. They support and help you out and offer a safe space for everyone. So truly everyone is welcome here. When you enter a new class you get welcomed and introduced to the dance style and you can really enhance your dancing. Also, they talk in English and Portuguese which is very nice. Furthermore, they have cool events/workshops from time to time and every second Sunday there is a social dance set taking place which everyone can participate in. If you want to do a trial lesson you can just go there and they will show you around.Udance is one of the reasons I don’t want to leave Lisbon, they make you feel like home.
