Epic Surf School

Excellent, extremely professional and family friendly surf school with some lovely personal touches. My partner and I were holidaying in Lisbon with my kids over the Easter break and we decided impromptu to enrol for a private surf lesson at Epic Surf School. The whole experience was brilliant starting off with Rui, the owner picking us all up in a very convenient location. His friendly chatty demeanour made the scenic ride to the school even more pleasant. The school is located in beautiful beach and is next to a great restaurant (so there is access to food if required).The instructor (Jose, nicknamed Zee I believe) for my partner and my kids was brilliant. The lesson on the first day was so good that we decided to return the next day to do another lesson. Zee managed to have all three of them standing on their boards (albeit for a short time) by the end of the 2nd lesson. He was so encouraging that my girls basically came away thinking that they were natural born surfer gals.The school (Rui & instructors) were soo accommodating that given our last minute decision to repeat the lesson the day we were flying back, they allowed us to store our luggage and also gave us a lift back to convenient location after the lesson was complete. Genuinely lovely people!We are contemplating going back to enrol for a week’s work of lessons at this school. We would highly recommend !
