The food was excellent for sure. We loved our cuts and the fried potatoes and aioli were great. Dessert of apple crumble was very good as was our wine. The ambience was really nice, despite a few kids running around. It's a beautiful location.The service can be improved. Our server was inattentive. We had better service from other waiters. We asked for the check and waited 15 min at least. We asked the host and he said our server will get it in a quite rude tone. Finally we got it. Then we tried paying and had cash in hand ready for the bill when it came. He walked away and we waited another 10 min. Finally we put exact change and left. It really messed up our nice meal. They had a line of people waiting for a table so you'd think they'd want turn over.I also emailed the restaurant weeks before the reservation as it was my husband's birthday dinner and they said they'd do a special dessert as a surprise to celebrate. Nothing was brought out and we were charged for what we ordered. I didn't feel like wasting anymore time so we just left.
