SurfMilfontes - Surf School in Vila Nova de Milfontes

This school is awesome, the instructors (shout out to Eric!) are very patient, great at explaining how everything works and able to tailor the lessons to your individual level. My wife and I went for one lesson and were hooked and had to come back for 4 more. They had access to a couple different beaches and we were able to start of in gentle white water before trying more challenging green waves.If you're a first timer looking to catch your first wave or someone who knows a little but wants to improve their surfing I am sure you'd benefit from the lessons here. The beaches in Vila Nova are also just amazing, rock and shark free, not very packed, and incredible to experience in person.Also as a logistical plus if you are in town and can't get to the beach since you came on the bus like us, they will transport you to and from the beach. Just make sure you're flexible with your time as the waves only come based on the tides of the river.
