Maternidade Alfredo da Costa (MAC)

This country refuses to provide customer service, it provides customer micro-aggressions and the system is constantly against the customer/client/patient. The service at Maternidade Afredo Costa is abysmal (multiple errors in scheduling, long waits, rude and unbothered staff), and the misogyny is unreal. Unfortunately, neither bad service or misogyny are to this place, but they are common to Portugal and definitely rampant at this place in particular.I saw two different - female!!! - doctors in two separate occasions and was received in the worst possible way. Rude tone of voice, cutting me off, speaking to me slowly (as if I were intellectually/linguistically challenged) and utterly unhelpful. Both times, I left without any solutions, and having to resort to the private healthcare system.Not only do I not recommend this place, I encourage you to actively avoid this institution, and report your bad experiences here or on their Livro das Reclamacoes. Its the only way to ensure better service going forward.
