Museu de Lagos

Terrible experience even though the museum itself is good. For context I visited this museum in the middle of August with my pregnant wife during our visit to Lagos. We had paid for the tickets in advance and when we arrived at the museum we were greeted by a closed door and a long line of people, we soon realized that the door would open to let people leave and allow for others to enter, it should be noted that it was summer and it was hot with no shade. After 20-30 minutes in the heat they allowed us to enter and we were sent to the reception and they asked us to leave our bag in a shared cabinet. I asked for their complain book while my wife inquired why she wasn't allowed to get in with her water, reminding them about her condition. We weren't allowed to take the water and they registered out complain in the book without a care in the world. We went to visit the museum were we felt like we were being constantly watched by the staff. We took back our things and left. Interesting church with a rich history and really beautiful chapel but after the terrible conditions to enter the museum it ruined the whole experience.
