Refers to Circuito do Alqueidão not Fort Simplicio, which is only one of the forts.Following the dirt road and recovered napolian time stone road you get to a complex from forts with a beautiful view and good historic information. Google maps doesn't give the correct information getting there. Use the N115 and enter at the sign Circuito do Alqueidão then the first dirtroad on the left.
