The only reason I am giving it 1 star is we finally found a nice staff member on the second time we went back to this post office. Her name was Anabela Peixe, she was very helpful and friendly. The first day we went in to ask about rates to send a box home to Australia we were made to stand and wait for 5 minutes by Carla Fonseca when we were the only people in the store. When she called us she was so rude, abrupt and intimidating. She would not even tell us an estimate per kilo and told us to come back with exact weight. There was no eye contact and she just ignored us until we left.We noticed the next day that she was being rude to other customers as well. Someone needs to give her a lesson in customer service and teach her how to respect the tourists who pour so much money into your economy. Surely you have people looking for a job who can be pleasant!We also found it hard to believe that a post office would not have tape to tape up the box for posting. We had to walk in the heat for 15 minutes to buy the tape. How ridiculous; time to pick up your game!
