Aparthotel Oceanus
Hotel a bit dated places in the hotel needed painted or replaced.My room was a superior and we had ants in it every day and sometimes the rooms weren’t really cleaned properly.One of the sunbeds we had in our balcony had bird droppings on it and was never cleaned on our whole trip.Hotel reception were pleasant and helpful.Hotel bar downstairs was ok and the barman Pedro was great his cocktails were lovely. Lastly the small restaurant The Snack Bar a short walk from the front of the hotel really let the place down the 2 male floor staff who run the place like a prison they watched you as soon as you came into the restaurant until you left sometimes talking behind your back and laughing in their own language.Worse to come was when my daughter tried to take a orange out of the restaurant the staff started to shout at her and stood in front of her to prevent her from moving so I had to give them the orange back you have been warned!! . Lastly they run out of orange juice midway through breakfast and never replaced it there excuse was you need to ask for more. 2 swimming pools ok. Nearest beach about 10 minutes away down a very steep hill it was ok few shops and bars near hotel food very expensive.Biggest supermarket quite close about 10 minutes walk away should have everything you need.If you have the Uber app very handy for getting around cheaper than the ordinary taxi.Alfuirier new town only 15 minutes away by taxi costs about 12 euros for Uber.
