STAY IN SINTRA GUESTHOUSE

The location seemed great at first, as it’s located near to the main square and train station. However the location is one of the main problems. The hotel is located just near the railway tracks and trains run constantly even during the night. The noise is so defending and strident that it is impossible to hold a conversation, not to mention sleeping at night.The other problem is that the walls are paper thin and the windows aren’t double glazed. There seems to be no form or effort put into soundproofing the rooms.Why am I mentioning this? Because you can literally hear ANYTHING that happens in the other divisions of the hotel. Extremely noisy place, as well as rowdy guests/staff being loud early in the morning with phone sounds and videos, being completely disrespectful of other guests.The other unsettling thing is that the main door to the hotel stays open all the time, even over night.Needless to say, that I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
