In many years I never have an experience like this.I reserved for my mother in law a room for 3 nights with the usual option to pay at the hotel. Unfortunately she arrived one day after the scheduled date due to a flight cancellation and the hotel kept the money from my card.At the checkout they asked to pay again and my mother in law did it by cash because she wasn't aware of the payment by card.I wrote to them as soon as I realized the double payment but they told me that they don't accept cash. I ask what they think happened and basically they told me that my mother in law is a lier and she never paid by cash!Worst experience ever with an hotel, 400€ lost like this.
