Home made food. No menu, no board,no listed prices. We sat and were told the 3 choices for the day. We selected pork stew over rice and Bacalao a la brass. Nothing memorable, but good tasting food. Just like at home. There was also a vegetable soup, but we were not informed. Saw anothe another customer eating the soup after our entree was served. It was a chilly day and I really wanted some. So I asked if I could have a small cup. I did get a coffee cup of it and I was happy...untill I saw that I was charged 2,50 eu for it. Outrageous when you consider that a large full bowl costs 1,50 in every other restaurant in Setubal. Maybe it was a mistake. Unfortunately I did not check my receipt untill later that day.If you don't speak Portuguese this may not be the place for you. Although the lady chef was very nice, the server and I had difficulties communicating. My Portuguese is minimal, but generally enough to manage an order and ask a few questions.The place is very small and gets quite busy with the local lunch crowd.Would I eat here again? Yes I would.
