The first contact got us off to a great start. The property manager Sergio met us as arranged at the apartment and talked us through the facilities that the apartment offered and gave us recommendations for local restaurants and bars. Check in was advertised as 3.00pm but Sergio got in touch to let us know that we could have early entry due to the previous visitors having an early flight. This saved us hanging about waiting for entry. (we had access from 11.30).We have vacationed in the general area before and knew where this apartment was situated. It is in a peaceful position equidistant between Albufeira and Vilamoura, with Ubers costing an average of 15 euro each way.The online photos of the apartment and facilities were a true reflection of the real thing. It has a huge terrace on the roof but the surprise for us was how much we used the smaller terrace which was accessed from the lounge or kitchen.If we return to this area, will stay in the same apartment and will be recommending it to friends and family.It was so refreshing to have the human contact with Sergio rather than getting sent an email with a key safe code.John K
