AB Villa Rentals - Portugal

Initially everything went very well with AB Villas in terms of getting answers to our questions on the Villa in Comporta we were looking at and making the reservation.Once we got to the property (Lavandula II in Pego, Comporta), there were several things that were not as expected:- the light by the pool was not working- the pool water was completely over chlorinated (resulting in one of our kids getting a skin rash)- the cleaning team only spent a very short time at the property every time they came, so that the villa was not properly cleaned- On day 1, we had pool towels in every room. These were removed on day 2 and it took another 3 days raising this with AB Villas (several SMS back & forth) until they were given to us again- the tone towards us from AB Villas increasingly got unfriendly and at times aggressive, which we were very shocked about to say the least considering the price of the Villa (in hindsight, I would say the Villa Lavandula II is definitely overpriced for what it is and offers)- Upon our check-out with AB Villas, we were told all was in good order. We had raised the above complaints once again. But a few days later, AB Villas informed us they would withhold part of the deposit due to a supposed stain in one of the bathrooms.To make a long story short, we would not use AB Villas again.
