Hotel Cascais Miragem Health & Spa

Very dated interior, as noted by other reviewers. For a five star hotel, I expected better service and more attention to detail. It was difficult to gain the attention of staff to order drinks and food by the pool. The staff at breakfast never offered espresso coffee or cooked breakfasts. There was buffet available. There was no feeling of warmth or welcoming by the staff. Nobody offered to assist us with our luggage upon arrival. The housekeeping staff were lovely though.A lot of smoking around the hotel, in particular other guests in neighbouring rooms smoking on their balcony and it wafted into our room. We didn’t realise we had been defaulted into a smoking floor. Poor soundproofing as well.The pool and spa areas were special.
