Amazing experience! The tour guides were great and energetic.The boat ride there from Albufeira Marina is also lovely - you get a unique view of the shore landscape and famous beaches. There’s nice music playing as well. We took the later slot starting 4:30pm which was lovely because we got to see the sunset on the way back and I think it was slightly less busy.The kayaking itself was fun, the guides take you through some of the caves and show you important landmarks.I will say, though that the tour group was quite big so the water “traffic” gets a bit tricky. At times the waves in the caves got a bit rough, so on a day that’s not so calm I could see it being tough to navigate.After the tour we got to jump off the boat for a quick swim before heading back to the marina.I’d suggest bringing snacks and water as it is quite a long trip overall. A towel and spare dry clothes/ something warm to throw over you for the ride back is also a good idea if you plan on swimming. You can keep your bags in the boat while kayaking.
